Siamese Dame 2012
An old project for an introduction to Illustration course I took during my BA in Fine Arts. .
We were to pick either a DC or Marvel hero/villain and design its counterpart using Marvel or DC’s artistic style.
I chose DC’s Cat Women and designed her counterpart Siamese Dame.
Since Cat Woman would possibly be best described as an antihero I decided that Siamese Dame should share the same classification but be the lesser evil of the both of them. She’s a grave robber, which makes her ‘Cat Woman light‘; a milder version of Cat Woman. Siamese Dame commits practically insignificant (immoral at best) small scale crimes thus making her a thief (so you can’t say she’s a good person) but she’ll never be close to whichever level of evil her original counterpart Cat Woman reached.
Also she’s chubby.
Both works are traditionally (not digitally) made.
