DSC_5535 copyThis gargoyle represents every contemporary artefact we as a culture decided not to save. It speaks for the things we could have reincorporated into our lives but instead chose to forget, get rid off, destroy our environment and poison ourselves with. Why must we always wait for the museums of the West to exhibit our ignorance on their walls?

This 3D illustration in the form of a sculpture is figure lacking, excluding the clear and surreal head of some hybrid creature set at the very top. It clearly explains my tendency to end up creating a landscape which also happens to be a living space. The main spiral stair case leads up to the midsection of the tower where a very basic, even unfinished, tent like shelter sits. The construction’s direction is up, wether for the purpose of posting a shelter highly elevated from the ground level, or placing a symbolic head piece with no architectural purpose what so ever. The majority of the space is taken up as stairs, expressing humanity’s constant development. This species throughout history got to where it is now by striving to reach what seemed impossible, and by using whatever means and materials at hand.
